The Ringwood Wall to Floor Grab Rail is made from large 32mm (1¼?) steel tubing for comfort and grip. The rail has a white epoxy coating finish making it suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The assembled rail measures 760mm (30?) from the wall to which it is attached and is 780mm (30¾?) high. The rail has a three hole circular fixing plate at each end for safe and secure attachment. For easy storage and transportation the rail comes in two pieces and is self-assembled using a bullet catch mechanism.
Installation: The rail should be installed and the appropriate screws selected by a skilled tradesman. The two parts of the rail should be assembled and checked to ensure they are secure prior to installation. To assemble the rail, squeeze the butterfly catch mechanism on the vertical portion of the rail so that the horizontal portion can fit over it. The bullet catch should fit into the pre-cut holes. Prior to being attached to the intended wall to which it is being fitted, line up the grab rail and mark where the fixings are to be applied. The rail should be fitted so that the joint between the two parts of the rail is positioned in the vertical section. All rails must be fixed to a strong secure wall whether used indoors or outside. The maximum user weight/load is dependent upon the correct choice of fixings for the mounting surface and it is for this reason we recommend installation by a qualified tradesman.
