Wonderful catheter
This is the nicest catheter I've used. It's got a large packet with plenty of water, and the package is shaped so that the water completely fills the area around the catheter when the packet is held upright, so I never have dry spots - that's a problem with many hydrophilic catheters. The package tears open easily just above the funnel (and above the water level, too, which is a nice thought), and the quality of the lubrication is typical silky-smooth hydrophilic coating. Pop the water packet, hold it upright for a few seconds, tear open the top and empty the leftover water into the toilet, slide the catheter out of the package, and I'm ready to cath - twenty seconds, tops. The only things I could complain about are that the water packet takes just a little care - early on I carelessly squeezed it on a couple of catheters and had water spray out instead of going down around the package. Also, the end is more spherical than the tapered shape that I've been accustomed to on non-hydrophilic PVC catheters, so it's a little more difficult to get past the urinary sphincter - enough so that I've gone down a size to make insertion easier. Finally, while I like having the large water packet, it does make it a bit bulkier when I want to roll up the catheter and tuck it in a pocket. I've gotten good at doing it, but it's not as easy as some other hydrophilics, and it took some getting used to when I started using the LoFric. The complaints are minor, though, and the advantages are significant, so this is the catheter I'm going to stick with.

wife of user
This has been, by far, the best catheter my husband has used. Its easier, cleanier and portable than the others he's tried over the last few years.

Great Product
I got put on these 5 or so years ago because of issues of regular catheters (lube added). Thought they were great then, but after changing to the new PVC free a couple years ago they got better. Really smooth now with no kind of pain. Have to pay for these out of pocket, as insurance has gotten tight. Best prices found are at indemedical.
