The SmartDrive is a revolutionary new power assist device that will change your life. It can power you up steep hills, through carpet and over grass. It is intuitive to use, just push to go and brake to stop, its that simple. It will go for days on a single charge. Plug in and get out there!

SmartDrive Features:

Powerful: The SmartDrive is amazingly powerful. It will push you up the steepest hills, through the thickest carpets, and over the most plush grass. You will go further, do more, and live more freely than you ever imagined!
Lightweight: Unbelievably light. You won't even know is there. The battery weighs 8 lbs and the drive unit weighs 11 lbs. Compare that to power assist wheels that weigh over 20 lbs each!
Installation: The SmartDrive can be easily installed and removed from your wheelchair. Use it when you want it, leave it in the car when you don't. The battery slips under the seat and the drive unit drops onto the axle hitch. Almost too easy.
Flexible: The SmartDrive freely rotates about the axle, so it floats along the ground and allows you to do wheelies or drop off curbs. It moves with you and will follow you wherever you want to go.

A game changer

As someone with limited arm and hand function due to a spinal cord injury, I wasn't getting around in public independently. This wheel has provided me with independence out in public and the ability to get up the ramps and a round in places I would not have been able to get around without a power assist. I love this idea because I personally feel like the power is fifth wheels are in eyesore. This thing is super easy to take on and off and off and I have found that it can last 2 to 3 days without a charge depending on how much you push. It has an indoor mode which kicks in when you push the wheels and turns off if you hit any kind of barrier or if you put pressure on the push rims to stop the chair. While in Outdoor mode it will keep going no matter what obstacle lies in front of you. You can shut off the wheel by tapping the button which should be installed right at the end of your cushion on your wheelchair frame. I 100% recommend this product
