Smith & Nephew Dermal Wound Cleanser from IndeMedical.com is an over-the-counter, non-toxic, non-irritating, first-aid antiseptic product used to help reduce the risk of infection in minor cuts, scrapes and burns. It is ideal for washing small superficial wounds and aids in the removal of exudate and other foreign material such as dirt and debris from skin and wounds.

• Effective First-Aid Antiseptic: Dermal wound contains the active antimicrobial ingredient Benzethonium Chloride to help prevent bacterial contamination in minor cuts, scrapes and burns.
• Gentle to Skin: Dermal wound contains Polysorbate 20, a gentle yet effective surfactant that makes cleansing of the skin and wound quick and easy.
• Easy to Use: Dermal wound cleanser is available in 8 oz. and 16 oz. adjustable nozzle trigger-spray bottles that allow the caregiver to gently dislodge wound debris and slough with a direct stream or irrigate the wound with the use of a fine mist spray.

Indications for Use:

1. Clean the affected area
2. Apply a small amount of this product on the area 1 to 3 times daily
3. Rinse with saline or normal protocol
4. Cover wound with sterile dressing or bandage as needed
5. If applying dressing or bandage let dry first

Warnings: For external use only. Do not use in the eyes. In case of deep or puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns, consult a doctor. Stop use and consult doctor if the condition persists or gets worse. Do not use longer than one week unless directed by a doctor. Keep out of the reach of children.
