The multiCHAIR 4020Rx is the most narrow shower/commode chair on the market. With an overall width of only 27", it can fit just about anywhere. The unique design of the multiCHAIR 4020Rx allows for the rear wheels and casters to be interchangeable and provides superior side access for toilet activities. Swing-away / removable push handles allow for assistance when needed. Cantilever fold-back / locking padded arms are comfortable and can be moved out of the way for transfers. Self-skinning padded urethane cushions with 1/2” waterfall-style foam ring around the commode opening and slot help protect the ischial and coccyx areas to reduce risk of pressure sores. Constructed of aircraft grade aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and durable plastics this chair will not rust or corrode. Features include 20” diameter wheels with vinyl-coated hand rims (hand rims are 19” in diameter for easier pushing)s, adjustable swing-away footrests, solid rubber tires, stainless steel quick-release axles and aluminum axle blocks for durability, and 5” diameter casters with total-lock brakes.
