The self-propelled multiCHAIR 4020 is perfect for the independent user. It is lightweight, strong, portable, and durable. Easy adjustability allows the multiCHAIR 4020/4024 to adapt to nearly any living situation. The modular design allows it to easily pack down into a compact package, making it an ideal choice for those not in the same living quarters every day. Swing-away / removable push handles allow for assistance when needed. Cantilever fold-back / locking padded arms are comfortable and can be moved out of the way for transfers. Self-skinning padded urethane cushions with 1/2” waterfall-style foam ring around the commode opening and slot help protect the ischial and coccyx areas to reduce risk of pressure sores. Constructed of aircraft grade aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and durable plastics this chair will not rust or corrode. Additional features include 20" or 24" rear wheels with toggle wheel locks and vinyl-coated hand rim, adjustable swing-away footrests, solid rubber tires, stainless steel quick-release axles and aluminum axle blocks for durability, and 5” diameter casters with total-lock brakes.
